We were also thinking about Riviera and Sahara. More so Sahara, since it has the monorail. Although both of those properties' life expectancy is questionable at best.

I cruised the Orleans while we were there in Dec and liked the feel of the place. The room prices are reasonable as are the restaurants. Again, it's off strip but it does have the shuttle to BC, although I've heard it is sometimes so crowded you can't get a seat.

I'm hoping our host at Stardust lands somewhere nice on the strip and invites us to stay there. Regardless we will stay at Stardust at least one more time before it closes (to celebrate paying off our house sometime later this year!)
