Do many of you here get very many comps in Vegas?

I do get lots of offers. I get invitations to slot tournaments, free rooms, free play. I can't take advantage of many of them because I only get to Las Vegas a couple of times a year.

i have only once in my life signed up for a club / slot card -- that was at orleans Jan 05 -- then few months later got 2 nites free.

That's it--i guess u have to sign up for stuff.

I know i wont play FOR COMPS... i'll just take em if they come.

We go to Vegas twice a year but are very low rollers as the saying goes.
Get reduced rate offers once in awhile. But not very often.
Did get one free night last year at Gold Coast.
But even if we dont get the offers enjoy the town 100%.

I've got cards for almost everywhere, but I don't get a whole lot out of it since, like grannyV, I'm a pretty low roller and I spread the play around.

I get very few also. The main things I count on
are my 2 free nights and casino rate at RIO.

...and it's not like I'm comped or they're doing
me any favors cuz they love me.......always staying
at the same property has it's advantages but I've paid
my share of 'full price' over the years...

Well now I don't feel like a complete loser.

Harrah's sends offers once in a while. Nothing to brag about or entice many people I'm sure.

Serveral years ago the Flamingo would make nice room offers or packages.

Stayed at Barbary Coast for serveral years and they were consistant in their offers (bad timing for many) But as Greg said, staying at one place usually gets you more.

I'm a low roller by Vegas standards, but a bag of peanuts would be nice once in awhile.

The days of playing at a table and being offered dinner is long past. The casino doesn't feel they have to keep you there in their casino anymore. Someone is waiting on your seat so they don't care.

The one thing I know is to play for comps is not wise. That room or meal can become very very expensive.

When I go to Vegas I always plan on paying for everything so at least I'm not disappointed.

LoL, the one mailer I miss is the one from the Plaza when it was Jackie's. Just little things, like free ice cream, or liquor miniatures. Talk about your bag of peanuts...
