Well, my amount of sports wagers has dropped. Also, my win frequency, he he he he.
I had the money-line on the Minn. Vikings (again) today. Couldnt cash in. A late turnover was rough on me... rough i tell ya! I think if i went with the point line - i would have covered. Oh well. Secondly - i did a sports wager on MLB - the Atl Braves baseball game today... bet the UNDER (10 runs), and got crunched. Oh well, i was hoping. that's it for now |

Weird indeed. Sometimes words just cant explain it.
One sports wager that i omitted (spell?) from this last weekend was: ILLINOIS plus 21 pts (vs Iowa) I won that with no prob. I'll admit though--college football, i do one of 3 things. 10% of the time - just take a guess. 10% of the time - actually take an educated guess. 80% of the time - listen to the local handicappers on 1400am radio who give out their 'plays of the week'. They have a few fellas who are 70%. Not bad. But, i dont throw around big dough on college sports. mK |

In general, I'd probably bet pro games b/c I pay more attention. But it really seems that college is a little more predictable. Quality level is significantly different between college programs, where in the pros, a bad team is usually talented people just playing badly - but if they get it together, look out.

Good point al. I think college games involve a great # of variables.
One piece of advice i've rec'd in a sportsbook was.... in college football, never bet on a game that involves two bad teams. The unpredictable is zany. two good teams - wager if you want one good team, one bad - wager if you want two bad teams - STAY AWAY mK |
