While at the GC a couple nites back... i was on a good roll. I was throwing the bones & nailed at least eight points in a row (mixed in with naturals). Well. They did a shift change. Then another one 2 minutes later -- and the second one they did....... every single person either switched positions or went to another table.
It was a slow and deliberate shift change.... as if they were wanting to change my luck. One stickman left our table, went to an adjacent table then returned to our table in less than 70 seconds. Do casinos try to ice hot dice? The fella next to me said "mysterious shift change there buddy". Of course - 2 rolls later - i 7 out. mK |

Absolutely they try to ice the shooter. Not all the time, not all places, but yep. I remember watching some lady throw for like a half an hour at the Fitz, the box or a suit picked up the dice and "scrutinized" them, as if she were palming in some loaded dice. Other times they'll just give you grief about setting the dice, or some such. Stupid and childish on their part.
