Default random sports bets

I have been coming here a bit 'less'. I have been frequenting another board n such, lol. But, this one will always be my favourite.

Some random bets i've made & have 'brewing currently'.

UNIV of Nevada - reno VS UNLV - cant remember the point spread. But, very very easy game to win. I chose Reno. UNLV just stinks (sorry locals).

Baseball (today) brewers vs Cards o/u 8 runs - i think the game just ended with a total of 8. But, one of the starting pitchers on the ticket didnt start. So, i dont know if i had action to begin with. Doc al ?

NFL (today) jags / wash redskins (1st half o/u 17 pts) - i chose the over. We'll see how it goes.

NFL (today) SEA / CHI o/u is 35 .. i chose the over. We'll see how it goes.

Baseball (today) sea / tex I chose a money-line of +104 on the M's. This is a late game i believe. Will have to check on that sucker later if i'm back at the sportsbook.

Good question on the SP change. I don't know the answer. Found this on vegas.com:

Quote:
Listed pitcher(s) option

When making a baseball bet, you are betting team vs. team. You have the option to specify that either or both listed pitchers must start the game.

Since baseball odds are determined on starting pitchers, any late pitching changes often force an adjustment in the odds. This will increase or decrease the payout on a winning ticket. However, if you list starting pitchers, and your pitcher doesn't start, then the bet is refunded.

thx al .. i get confused on account of o/u bets automatically list the 1st & Last name of EACH pitcher.....

I forgot to ask the clerk (while cashing in ) tonite if i got my $ back on account of the 'push' or the non-starting pitcher. Oh well.

Well... as for my sports wagers... everything won. The chi/sea NFL game is already a win as it's OVER the total.

Ya cant always get 100% luck - so it's a pretty good day.

It's monday night -- about 6 minutes before kickoff in the NFL.

I've got 3 upcoming wagers:

NFL - tonight - Packers/Eagles o/u is 49 1/2 - i chose the under.
We'll see

MLB - A's / Twins .... Santana is -1.85 & Zito is +1.70. I'm looking for value, so i chose the A's. This is a game 1 wager.

MLB - A's / Twins .... Series wager ... chose my A's. Cant remember the odds.

MLB - Yankees / Detroit o/u is 9.5 - i got the under for a -1.10. I just have a feeling that it will go under -- even with the NY heavy hitters. Scores can tighten up in the post-season.

Good luck, mk, but I'll take the other side of all your baseball bets. Santana's lost the last two, but I still won't go against him (maybe with runs). Tigers have been awful down the stretch.

reckon i did al !!! I was (unfortunate) at work during the game -- so had to HEAR about the score during my last break, lol. Oh well. The o/u on the yankees game is out the window... so i'll chalk that up as a definate loss.

Packers o/u bet was an easy winner.

I've got the A's (again) in game #2. The line is a +1.21. Which is a lot lower than for game #1. Maybe, it's on account of momentum (or E. Loaiza goin for OAK). What do you think al ???

I was there today. Twins started Bonser, essentially a rookie, kind of a liability. But he pitched well and gave us a shot. Some combo of Reyes and Hunter gave it up.

misterKeno wins again!

glad somebody did.

O m gosh... al -- you were THERE @ the game!! Dang. I have to tell you - i've only been to one playoff baseball game in my life & i loooove the atmosphere. Sorry your twinkies let ya down partner. Trust me, i'm not here to rub it in - i only had ten clams riding on it.

I'm just reading about the game details (now) as i have just gotten home from work.

Well... that's it for now. I think i'm going to stay 'put' for the next two days. I'll see if i can post some college / nfl stuff later on.
