Wow, Freeze Warning for Las Vegas
A freeze warning was in effect this morning after temperatures dropped significantly overnight.
Temperatures around the Las Vegas valley fell into the low to mid-30s with some locations in the upper 20s.
Temperatures climbed above the freezing mark after 8 a.m. A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely.
These conditions may harm or kill sensitive vegetation. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes, they should be wrapped, drained or allowed to drip slowly.
