uprights for my vp
and, i've got to tell ya -- my luck @ FP vp is still going strong. Did vp at the Gold Coast yesterday for 10 minutes. Cash in--> $4 TITO out--> $9 You are dealt 4 hearts 5 hearts 6 hearts 7 hearts K hearts do you keep your flush???? do you dump the K and try for a STRAIGH FLUSH???? |

If you drop the king, the probabilities on the next card are (for 9-6 JoB): 2 cards that can complete the SF and pay 50 6 remaining hearts to give you a flush for 6 6 remaining cards to complete the straight for 5 and 33 "rats!" cards that give you zip. Do the math and your average return is 3.5 credits vs the 6 you'd get for standing pat, so I'd stay. If you were drawing to a Royal instead, the avg return would be 6.5 to 8 credits (inside vs. outside straight), so I'd draw to it. There. It's out of my head now.
