Airport to Hotel

I don't mind all the stops the shuttle makes getting to the hotel. I rather enjoyed it. What I don't like is being "taken for a ride". The problem with the shuttle was I pre-paid for the round trip both times. Both companys wouldn't come and pick us up on the return. The second time it happened there were 11 of us waiting. We waited about 30 minutes than began calling the company. They kept promising they were coming. When you have a flight to catch it is very stressful waiting.



I'm not going to put myself through that again. I will just go out front of my hotel when "I'M" ready to leave and just grab a cab.

I agree 100% shuttle is only good 1-way.

I usually get the 1-way shuttle tickets too. A few years ago, I had a round trip ticket and also had difficulty on the return trip. I have taken a cab back to the airport occasionally.

...and that's the way to do it. EVERYONE has problems catching the
Shuttles BACK to McCarran, they're totally worthless, take a cab.

You can get burned on that ride too sometimes...
It's the same as going from McCarran to your destination. PARADISE is
the suggested route to and from most places.

For me, leaving fron the RIO, GOLD COAST, PALMS, or downtown...
hop on I-15 and EXIT Tropicana works best.
AROUND TOWN...going from here to there...never have had any
problems with anything. Most fares for me are twelve bucks including
tip each way...some are less...AND! in 14 days, I get to take some more
cab rides!

Put me down as a cab guy, although... if it's just me and a carry-on and I'm headed downtown (frequently the case) I'll often opt for the CAT bus. Takes a while, but for $1.25 ... I can take some downtime. Not everybody's style, of course.

But I second what Greg said -- most cabbies I've encountered in LV are pretty good, some quite informational, but then there can be that one that you've got to keep an eye on...

when we go with a group always a limo. Used to take taxi now been renting a car using Dollar fastlane very quick.Greg is right the cattle line is horrible do not get init take a limo

We always rent a car I like driving around town (I know it wasn't a choice but thought I would answer!)
