Default Silverton, who has been there?

Ok, the couple we are staying with in 3 weeks, lives pretty close to the Silverton. We will probably eat a buffet or two there and might even gamble a little, just because it is close.

I read some reviews about it. Buffet sounds decent. Not sure about the table games, etc.. I know we will be on the strip the most, but I have the feeling with 6-8 people trying to get everyone moving might be tough. I might have to say.. "Well pick me up at the Silverton when everyone is ready"

I did a Bob Dancer class there a couple trips back...it's a cool
little casino! I really liked it and would play there if it were closer.
VP scheduals were good, the place looks good...small,new,sharp and
very easy to navigate. The floor folks were all real friendly...they knew
all their regulars, that always make a gaming experience all the better.
I ate in their cafe/hamburger joint...don't remember the name. It was
just a cafe, nothing special and my burger wasn't the best...stupid fancy
rolls! Why can't these places just use hamburger buns...I'm not impressed.
You might have to take up Bass fishing Grant...their Bass shop is quite
impressive even if you aren't a fisherman...Taylor's gonna ask some day!

The casino is REALLY nothing special at all. In fact, it seems drab to me. You may have a better time looking at the fishing shop.

Dice have the 10x odds, if i remember - which is good. And, yes the vp is good. But, it's a pretty dull place - mostly a locals choice. The cocktail waitresses look as if they were once features on the antiques roadshow. I'm not kidding here Grant.

I did my walk thru through the buffet. It looked 'fair to okay'. Nothing looked bad, then again, nothing really stood out.
