a lot of randomness

something really random...

Last night, i noticed that i can see the very VERY top portion of the Stratosphere tower from my bedroom window. I didnt even know this was possible until now! And, i've been renting this room for over 3 months.

I'm in Henderson .. roughly where vegas turns into "Henderson" along the 215........ I was hanging something on the wall and stood on the edge of my bedframe....... out of the corner of my eye, i see this red vertical 'thing' in the distance... yep, it was it!! Actually made me excited.

Sooo, now i can see the luxor (beam only) and the tippy top of the Strat.

Such randomness. Sigh.

Another random bit - when my buddy was out golfing, a local he was with told him to keep in mind which direction the Strat is, because putts will always break in that direction. I'm guessing that falls in the "urban legend" category, but FWIW...
