AirTran promotion, good way to get a cheap ticket to Vegas

Orlando-based AirTran Airways has teamed with the Coca-Cola Co. and Wendy's on a "round-trip refreshment" promotion that offers Wendy's customers credits toward a free AirTran flight with the purchase of a soft drink at participating restaurants. More than 80 million specially marked 20-ounce and 32-ounce cups were produced for the promotion, which will run until Dec. 31. The cups feature an AirTran flight coupon that can be redeemed for frequent flier credits as part of the airline's A+ Rewards program. A free one-way ticket requires 32 of the round-trip coupons.

Grant....I had to laugh when I seen your post here. A friend of mine in GA told me about it and here is the funny part.

Her brother in law told his wife you know if you get one of the drinks be sure and look if anyone leaves one sitting on a table....she told him no way. Then she said, "next thing I know you'll have the kids dumpster diving"!.....ummmm. She shouldn't have put ideas in his head. LOL

Funny story, I read on another board that people are actually dumpster diving for em. And people are already selling them on Ebay so that isn't good.

I am scared to do this and have something go wrong, so I will probably try it but still book my plane ticket for my Superbowl trip and then just use the cheap AirTran ticket for another trip.

I haven't heard any bad stories about it yet. And the promotion is getting a low of publicity.
