Has anyone stayed there? How much is a cab to the strip?

I havent stayed there. Only spoke with person in the casino who WERE staying there (casual talk between vp machines).. they said the rooms were really nice & comfy.

Cab ride, eh, it could range from $12 to $18 (if you wanted to get to mid-strip). It's a ways away from even mandy-bay. I heard the distance from SOUTH POINT --> Trop is just under five miles.

Oh, it's called Southpoint now.

Stopped there last trip.Nice place .May take advantage of the 241 offer they have.They have a shuttle.
May use to get down to the strip and take a cab back.

Decided to stay at MGM instead. $79 on a weekend night. Plan to use the shuttle to visit.

I wouldnt mind staying there - except for one thing. It's a goliath of a casino.... i like to limit my walking to the 'megaresort', but not bigger, lol!!!
