Default Best Bars/Lounges

Love sitting in a good bar, having a cocktail and people-watching. Have a few favorites, found a couple more last trip out, looking for some suggestions as well.

Love the Island Lounge in the middle of the Mandalay casino. Beautiful space. Service isn't always great, but usually a good band, fun people watching, especially after one or so when the "worker bees" come out. Another favorite spot was the Baccarat Bar in the middle of Bellagio, because you can sip on a quality martini and watch the parade of humanity go by. But they took out the little cocktail tables and put in couches, so we may take our business over to Wynn's Parasol Up. Parasol down was a nice concept, but the music was terrible, and the service worse, last time, so I doubt I'll do that again. Finally found the Terrazza lounge over in Caesars, but was too early for the jazz.

Downtown has a couple new spots, the Hogs 'n Heifers and Triple George (the latter mainly a restaurant) up by Lady Luck, the Ice House lounge ( a long walk south on Main from the plaza) and the Beauty Bar (!) over by the El Cortez. Didn't get to any of these in September, but plan to do a little more wandering this time.
