Barry Manilow extends Las Vegas stay
LAS VEGAS, NV, United States (UPI) -- The Las Vegas Hilton has extended Barry Manilow`s exclusive engagement at the resort through 2008.
Resorts International President and Chief Executive Officer Nicholas L. Ribis presented Manilow with a ceremonial key to the Hilton in announcing the extension to a packed house Friday night, Resorts International said in a news release Sunday.
Manilow`s latest album, 'The Greatest Songs of the Fifties' recently achieved platinum status.
His Vegas show, 'Manilow: Music and Passion' opened Feb. 23, 2005.
