Las Vegas Shows have always been my thing,
but not many others here.....WHY? Tickets too expensive? No interest in the choices of Entertainment? Would rather gamble than sit for 90min. in a Showroom? All the 'homework'....finding the seating chart, calling the Boxoffice, booking in advance, is just too much trouble? |

I love to see shows when I go to Las Vegas. In addition to the production and headliner shows, I also like the lounge acts. I gamble many hours while in Vegas and need the break from the machines.

Seems like in recent years it is hard to convince others with me to go to the shows. I think the prices are part of the reason.
I do watch the lounge shows for a break, but I hate going to a show by myself. Others are wanting to do more sightseeing and gambling. I do like to get away from the strip. I usually go out to Ellis AFB when I'm there. If I'm lucky the Thunderbirds are on the flight line and I watch them for a time. |

I'm a solo traveler most of the time. I've avoided the shows due to the fact that there's a giant handful of things you'd like to do in LV with your signif. other.
fountain shows entertainment shows etc etc But, i think i'll be more likely to check out shows now. As long as they are normalized seating. I dont wanna be a SOLO person in some 'booth'. The suggestion of tix4tonite is making me a believer.

GOING SOLO:
There's lots of us single folks out there...and I see 'em at the Shows, restaurants...it's a state of mind, and it's 'in your mind'...that feeling of going out alone. Sure it's fun to have company, but it IS FUN SOLO too. I've always had great fun talking to other folks sitting next to me at a table..........where you from, where you staying, what other Shows have you seen, gambling, adventures, the Pre-Show 'yackin' it up is fun. ...and there's no reason to feel out of place...no one knows you, you'll never see them again, WHAT HAPPEN IN VEGAS bla bla bla... You're around alot of people, you're safe, you're seeing a Show that you've heard about on the boards and can give a review when you get back...AND YOU'RE NEVER LATE! lol |

Tickets are way too high. I'd see Clint Holmes at 65 ... on a 2-for-1. A c-note for a seat? Absolutely not. On the other hand, I love the free lounge acts. I'm more of a music guy than a show guy anyway.
Other problem - fixed scheduling. When I'm in vegas, I'm on walkabout, I don't even carry a watch. Don't know what time it is, don't care. Rushing to be somewhere is out of the question.
