Default BODIES and the JUBILEE Backstage Tour

'Bodies', the exibition at the Tropicana is amazing...it's truely
an education like you've never had before of the human body.
It's displayed very tastefully, almost a working lab for medical
students in a well planned out gallery.

Talking wonds are available or, as I did, just read the discription cards
on each display...it's just facinating, you've never seen anything like
this before.
The detail and complexity of this Show is quite impressive. Everyone
taking in the displays were very respectfull and totally facinated.
I walked through with a group of men, women, teens and children.
It should be there for 3 to 4 months at least...

I finally got to go on the JUBILEE Backstage Tour and it was very good.
I think it means more if you've seen the Show, however half the group
were seeing it later that night for the first time and enjoyed it very much.
You REALLY appreciate how they pull the Show off night after night all
the more after the tour. Upstairs control room, on stage, below the stage,
dressing rooms, Q&A, 11AM, 1hr.+...LOTS OF FUN! (and walking)

Greg i saw the bilboards all over town and the signs on the top of cabbie autos for that bodies show!! Just dont think i could go... not my cup of tea. I heard it's popular though. That sort of suprises me.

Yeah, if I wanted to look at body parts I'd have been a *real* doc, lol. I do want to catch one of the "showgirl" shows, either Jubilee or Folies Bergere sometime just for the "vegas experience".

Bodies is not something I'd waste my time with, but the backstage tour of Jubilee might be interesting. I've enjoyed the show a couple of times.

florida mary.. i have never even seen Jubilee... and gosh Bally's had it way back in 1980. I actually have seen very few shows (altogether).

Doc al.. i've seen one of the 'girl' shows. Was called (i think its still playing) "crazy girls" @ the Riv. This was in 1989. My friend and i debated if it was either going to be:

Crazy Girls for $14
Frank for $62

Well, we saw the girls do their 'thing'. But, i still regret it... my only chance to see the chairman of the board. Sigh. (that's not to say the girls werent 1/2 bad).
