Need some show ticket advice (Artie Lange, and others)

First, Artie Lange will be at the Luxor Superbowl weekend. Exactly where I am staying. My buddies and I are debating, do we get the tickets now or what to see if we can get some discounted tickets on Ebay or Craigslist or someplace like that. We don't want to miss it. Would it be better to buy now?

Secondly, for one for the big shows. O, Mystere, etc.. There are like 4-6 of us going in a month. (This will be my first big show!). Should we try get tickets now, or wait and go to like a half price tickets place the day of. We are planning to see a show on a Sunday (not sure if that makes a difference).

For the big shows, I would go ahead and get them as soon as possible. I always get my tickets 3-4 months in advance so I can get the best selection of seats.
