Well...I'll just say right off the bat, I liked his Golden Nugget
Show better. He has a great new showroom and band...looks and feels real good! Except for the extream Left and Right areas of the theatre, the seats are all pretty good. Down front (I was 1st row/center) might be a bit more fun...better to catch his facial expressions, but I wouldn't think it makes that big a difference...the voices or the Clint Eastwood 'squint' aren't the main attention factor with his Show...yeah they're important, but the emphasis is on his comdey, punchline gags more than the impressions. Danny Gans is an impressionist/comedian, Gordie is a comedian/impressionist. Problem was, his Show seemed unoranized...(my night at least) His rapid fire routine was broken up with long pauses of...hmmmm, what should we do next? He's also trying out a 'second' Show for his evenings. The 7:30 room was full...I went to the 9:30 and only half the room was full. If this caused his slower delivery/not as fun type of performance as I've seen before, it's no excuse to me....I like 100% if I'm gonna pay to see you. (SCINTAS do it...) The room looks great, the band and stage look and sound great, Gordie looks good........my night just fell a bit flat for whatever reason. I had SECTION 2, ROW A, SEAT 32, $79.00 Venetian BOXOFFICE: 1.877.583.6489 |
