Default April 7-10 at the LV HILTON

Posted by misales

I'm so darn excited to go I'm gonna start my trip report a week in advance. I alreay got some match plays in my wallet for the frontier. I didn't join the LV advisor but I hope to soon, I've had a busy month.

I will be there for the NAMA (vending) convention at the convention center that is attached.

Flying out this coming thursday April 7 at 0530am DTW, will be in Vegas around 1000am. Got a comped room, a full size car on priceline.

The weather in Michigan is picking up but Vegas weather will still be tons better.

If anyone has any hot news for the weekend of my stay let me know. I haven't booked any activites due to my convention and also since I am going stag this time.

I plan a little blackjack and might take in the Hilton Spa for a day. I haven't used their spa yet but I think I need a day or evening for myself this trip.

I would be excited also!! Isn't the pre trip planning part of the Vegas experience?? It always got me primed to go. LOL
The spa sounds real nice. Keep the "ole bod" in shape, since we usually don't eat, sleep like we should there. After all we can do all that at home.
You have a great trip and I will be waiting on an exciting trip report when you return.
WIN! But most of all have fun!!!!!!

The car thing...I'm a firm believer in VALET parking. Some folks complain about the wait to get your car back...hey! The time it takes to FIND the parking garage (you have no idea where you're going remember)...park the car, wonder through the casinos, FIND the garage again and then FIND where you parked the car...VALET.
Drive up to the front door, get out, go in, come back out, TIP $2.00, get your car and GO.

I had a car one trip.....never again. I cab everywhere. You loose so much time driving around in a city full of traffic, you don't know where you're going, you're trying to sight see and drive at the same time...IT'S DANGEROUS
Sit back in a cab, enjoy the view...

You'll be stuck way off at the Hilton, so you'll need to drive into anything you want to see. Cab from the Hilton to the RIO is ten bucks for examp'l...
less if you head someplace on the strip. If you avoid the time the shows get out, you'll never have a cab line if you choose that way to go...
