I could almost gaurantee you could walk into the Westin and get a ticket... FORBIDDEN VEGAS is still kind of 'little secret' for us VEGASJUNKIES. Smart little casino too...very different feel and for sure you could entertain yourself at some games for a while.....check it out in June when you go for the WSOP! |

Greg, I would love to take you up on your offer of show suggestions. I'm going in August for a conference. Traveling with a friend and never know what he might want to see. He's 55 and the shows that we have seen together previously are Jubilee, Skintight, George Carlin, Penn & Teller, and a comedy show at the Trop. I think he enjoyed all of them. He actually mentioned to me that we might see Celine, which surprised me. Because of the conference all day long, it's hard to get to the half price ticket places in time for the good shows and seats. I think we will be there for 8 nights, and possibly have four days free. Will check Tickets4Tonight those days. But what would you suggest? I have a feeling he would not like Blue Man Group (although I would like to see them), or any Cirque shows. But who knows? We are staying 4 nights at the Riviera for the conference, and then moving. We do have half price tickets to the comedy show there. Thanks for any advice. Chris |

Hey Chris... At least you've got plenty of time to plan...3 months or so. The "A" shows go on sale 30,60.90 in advance of the night YOU want to seen it...book in advance with the Boxoffice, no disapointments. That said...ask him, pin him down for some ideas. Celine or Elton are both great shows (I prefer Elton) check Caesars site for who's there when: caesarspalace.com I WAS going to suggest KA` at the MGM but if he's not a CIRQUE fan... the show is a technlogical wonder and very impressive...totally unlike Mystere or "O". I don't use the 1/2 price outlets...I want to have my shows all set, with a guaranteed great seat before I even leave home. The procedure you go through to use them, wastes too much of my time for a 1/2 ticket and not that much of a guarantee you have a real good seat. It works for some shows and Tickets4Tonight seem to be the best and best selection but it's just not for me. Clint Holmes show at Harrah's is one of the best tickets they all offer. Lots of great music, lots of variety and entertainment! I've seen him alot and will continue to do so. I'm 55 too and love my old, classic, Rock'n'Roll. If he know alot of QUEEN's old hits...WE WILL ROCK YOU at Paris is GREAT...seen it lots of times too. Pin him down to something. I can suggests a better plan with something more specific...sections, prices, etc. I'll keep a look-out for your future posts... Greg P.S. Surf through the Review Journal for future shows... www.lvrj.com 'click' on Neon up on top 'click' on the calander's Upcoming Shows and cruze through the upcoming events...it update all the time so you can continue to check it, |
