Funny Biloxi Story

Ok well it isn't that funny and it is not a trip report.

On Friday morning (4/22) my brother and I found our offers for a Biloxi casino, we got the itch, and after a few calls decided to go to Biloxi. But we had to wait till like 8pm to leave. (A couple things came up).

Pack a bag for a quick weekend trip and end up leaving around 9:30pm, remember it is an 8 hour drive. Well to make a long story short, we are only on the road about 30 minutes and decide to turn around and wait a few weeks.

I think it was a smart move, we would have had to drive all night, etc... So we might be going the weekend of May 13,14,15. I will keep everyone updated

GOOD CHOICE
I remember very well when I would take off on a spur of the molment trip...still do once or twice a year...usually some hot music in LV for just a night and I can't miss it.

Even then though.....to drive 8hrs. anywhere, just seemed dumb for a quicky.
(well.....almost any kind of quicky,there was Melody but that's another story)
Too bad you don't have any fast, cheap flights around.
If I get the bug to GO, I want to be there NOW, have a blast, and get
back QUICK.

There was one company that had very reasonable flights, they went out of business. I am sure it won't be too long that direct low cost flights will be available.

The quick spur of the moment trips were always fun. The great $69 redeye flights made them possible. The $300 tickets make short runs a lot less appealing.
