Cheerleader breaks neck and still cheers

Not sure if anyone saw this on ESPN about 2 nights ago, but now it is getting some serious play time.

Grant this young lady Kristi Yamaoka is from here. I knew her as a student at Springfield High School. As a cheerleader here for the Senators she was a terrific team member. Always gave it her all!

She suffered a fracture to a vertebra, a concussion and a bruised lung. Her Mom said, she is doing well and walking some.

Saw it while at the Stardust sportsbook.Remmebr thinking good thing those medical professional took all that time and care to strap here down so she could continue to cheer

I know, I was also surprised they let her continue to cheer. With a neck/back injury I thought it is important to stay still.
