Open for any ideas for getting this forum going. I am going to be developing the VegasCoupons.com site so I believe that will constantly be feeding fresh visitors/posters to this forum.

Don't be shy and share some ideas!

So far it looks pretty good. Havent been on line for a few weeks so thought you guys had just picked up and left. But ha ha I caught up with you. :?

On the page that shows all the forums, there is a small link above the list of forums, to the right, "Show posts since your last visit". Kinda hard to find, but seems to do the trick.

Granny and others, I cut out a little image incase you are having problems finding it. I cut out a picture of the main forum page..

Might I have missed a PRIVATE MESSAGE icon?........didn't see any.

A word on the coupon thing.....know your members. There's lots and lots
of coupons and coupon links out there. The variety available, works for
some not others...and some are just plain useless.

New members/Old members will be attracted, join, stay, if they can use
what you come up with Grant. Be creative but realistic. Surf the other
boards and see what's hot....you'll all be offering basically the same
thing, it's just a matter of who knows about what board and where
they relate to and have fun at. It takes alot of time and many of other
board moderators are retired or link it to a professional buisness and
can do it full time....you've got your hands full buddy! GOOD LUCK!

I'm finding it hard to RETURN back to the top...
After a reply and clicking SUBMIT...it cycles/thinks, but only
returns me to my post.
Clicking again on SUBMIT or RETURN TO TOP does the same
thing. After several trys, double clicking here and there...it finally
gets back to the top and I can continue reading.

I use the part that says "VegasCoupons.com Forum Index -> Off Topic" to navigate back to the forum or to the forum list. It's just below the "Search Memberlist" area and right at the top of the messageboard area. It's also at the bottom of the page, right below the last post. Those are both clickable links, and will take you either to all the forums (the VegasCoupons part) or to that forum (the "Off Topic" part).

Figuring out how to navigate is, IMO, one of the shortcomings of this particular board software (which LVA also uses, I think?), but with a little highlighting I think it won't be so bad.
