I don't.
I am not a big fan of the rematch, but I don't see how Florida deserves a shot over Michigan. Michigan only lost 1 game, to the number 1 team in the Nation at their stadium. Oh well, Go Ohio State. This is not just because I am a Florida State Fan.

I didn't want to see a rematch - not because it wouldn't be a good game, but because Michigan had their shot. And suppose they did play a rematch, and Michigan won - they go 50-50 on the series but walk away with the trophy? They got beat by #1 when they were #2. Next.
come to think of it, if #1 beats #2 at the end of the season, isn't the nat'l champion settled right there? |

A caveat is that having spent my formative years watching UW Badgers, I'll start caring about OSU after they have maybe 20 consecutive losing seasons, and UMich 40. And my brother-in-law (whom I otherwise get along with fine) is a big Blue fan.

Was listening to a radio show here in town & they interviewed a couple of the sportsbook managers. They were saying (random info) that the 'handle' taken in for the BCS game is about 4% of what the Super Bowl brings in.
I knew it would be lower, but gosh, that's a big shadow over the college stuff. |
